Initiated in 1960 by resistant, deportees and teachers, the Museum of the Resistance and Deportation becomes county in 1994. History Museum, it aims to give to understand the history of the years 1939 - 1945 from local facts and experiences and transmit the values ​​in whose name men and women fought the Nazi occupier and the french state of Marshal Petain. The exceptional collection of objects, photographs, audiovisual documents and testimony is enhanced by a modern museum where emotion and reflection are in turn requested.
