Cyprus

Cyprus is an island in the Eastern part of the Mediterranean sea, the largest and third most populous. It is very close to the shores of Greece, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon and northwest of Israel. A major tourist destination, this island has an offer that can answer the needs of everybody; nature, cultural heritage, hidden gems, beaches......

From the New Stone Age to the Roman Empire, many archaeological and antiquities sites are scattered across the island. Nicosia, the capital, displays many monuments within its old walls. Cyprus is dominated by two mountain ranges: the Troodos Mountains (south - west) and the Kyrenia Range (north), between which there is the Mesaoria plain, drained by the Pedieos River. Mountains have beautiful trail walks, that turn into skiing tracks in the winter. In Troodos, you will have the possibility to taste one of the island’s best wines. If you’re looking for more quiet places, you should explore the coastline, and unveil hidden gems which are still rather unexplored by tourists.
