less than a minute reading

The Swarovski Crystal Worlds (Swarovski Kristallwelten) is a unique crystal museum, located in Wattens in Tyrol, close to Innsbruck. It was opened in 1995 to mark the 100th anniversary of the Swarovski company founding. Swarovski is Austrian company producer of crystal that holds 2,800 stores in around 200 countries. Its founder Daniel Swarovski had a vision to make "a diamond for everyone" by making crystals affordable. One century later his company has managed to accomplish exactly that.

In the Crystal Worlds Centre everything is inspired by crystals, which are represented in 16 exhibition rooms with different thematic. Show rooms are designed by renown artists and architectures.

This indoor modern art gallery is surrounded by park and at the entrance huge fountain in a form of grass-covered head is located. In the park you can find Crystal Cloud, artwork consisting of 800,000 hand-mounted Swarovski crystals, the largest work of its kind in the world.
