Party places in Valencia - city centre architecture

3 minutes to read

The Valencian Community is full of beauty, life, sun and beaches and I'm living in the city of Valencia at the moment and I am absolutely enjoying my time here! I have only been here for the last three months but it has been more than enough for me to connect with the city, meet some very nice people and find good places to party! As a proper Spanish person, I love partying and I think it is an important part of my social life. Stay tuned if you are into partying like me because in the next two articles, I am going to tell you about some of the most popular and best discos in Valencia that I have had the opportunity to enjoy and explore so far.

Mya - L'Umbracle

Lots of young people know about the famous and cool disco that is inside the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, Mya, and every young person that comes to Valencia wanting to party has to stop by and experience a night in Mya. In my opinion, the decoration and the architecture are unique and play an important part, with lots of graffiti and lights that create a beautiful and lively atmosphere, with beautiful views to the nearby architectural glory. The disco also has different floors and rooms in which you can find different kinds of music – techno, R&B, and commercial and reggaeton music among other styles – and a VIP area.

But without any doubt, the coolest part of this place is its huge famous terrace called L’Umbracle within Mya. The architecture is really impressive and amazing, with big palm trees all around and cool lights during the nights. It is also very common to find plenty of people who go there taking pictures in this popular terrace as it is worth it. Entrance tickets can be a bit expensive (they are normally 16€) but this is where I tell you about an app called Xceed that you can download from the Play Store. Xceed allows you to find out about the best events and parties at the tops clubs in Valencia, as well as join fantastic nights, have access to guest lists and to VIP service and book tickets. I definitely find this app extremely helpful especially because you can join the guest list for Mya or for other clubs and obtain very good discounts if you arrive to the disco at a specific set time (normally before 2:00 am).

The last thing you need to know is that you need to be a bit dressed up to be able to get into Mya, so put on some cool fancy clothes! Don’t hesitate to come to Valencia if you are looking for a nice sunny beach city with plenty of amazing clubs that will make you experience unforgettable!

If you have any confusion about how to find these discos, the City of Arts and Sciences complex is the most popular tourist destination in Valencia, and Mya and the terrace area within Mya called L'Umbracle are within this complex.
