Modern Art in Istanbul

ISTANBUL BIENNIAL

Istanbul Biennial has been organized by Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts since 1987. Starting from the first ever organization, biennial took on an important role of promoting contemporary artists not only in Turkey but regionally and internationally. SALT GALATA

This research centre and library located in a historical Ottoman building, provides open archives, work spaces and workshops to the art enthusiasts and to those who like to read and learn.
