Vemdalsskalet

Description

Vemdalsskalet is a winter sports resort in Vemdalen's parish in Härjedalen municipality. The resort consists of the classic Högfjällshotellet and two larger areas with cottages and apartment hotels. Until the 1960s, tourism was focused on wellness weeks, hunting and fishing. Today the downhill skiing dominates, and the Vemdalsskalen ski resort together with Björnrike and Klövsjö-Storhogna form Destination Vemdalen, which since the turn of the millennium is owned and operated by Skistar. ©Wikipedia/Ankara
