Description
Thitgatoeaing elephant camp is a tourist attraction in the vicinity of Pathein. Once established by the State of Myanmar as a logging camp, it has been adapted for tourists after the ban on teakwood harvesting. The site is conveniently located right next to the road from Pathein to Ngwesaung on the seashore, making it an easy stop on the way to the famous beach resorts. © Istock/MudaCom
