Museo Walser

Description

A living witness of the way of life of the Walser in 1600, a population of Germanic origin that arrived in Valsesia from the Upper Valais (Switzerland) at the end of 1200. They are in the Museum objects and agricultural work tools, housing and real own and the space for the stable: in the same house, in fact, the Walser gathered agricultural functions, housing and pastoral. The Walser Museum is proposed to make known and to revive the material culture of a population that has written a piece of history of Valsesian territory.
