Description

The development of the spa park is closely connected with Hamm as a spa and entitled "Bad Hamm" together. 1883 they came across a brine source and decided to conduct the brine in the vicinity of the former citizens Schützenhof and build a bath house and a lodging house for celebrations, receptions or spa concerts. The lodging house was built in 1898 following the first Schützenhalle as their head building from Iserlohn architect G. Leppin. The modern term "spa" prevailed in 1932 when the city took over the hall operation. Since 1996 it is a listed building.
