Galkinsky Swamp (Galkinskoye boloto), Galkino

Description

Galkinsky Swamp is a part of Ugra National Park. In the middle of the 20th century, there was a peat quarry, and now the swamp is in the process of recreation. With its unique aquatic vegetation and about 20 species of nesting and migrating birds, this is a protected territory. There is an eco-trail equipped with wooden platforms and observation tower, which starts in Galkino village.
