LATORDICELLA is a charming little house on three levels, with thick sandstone walls dating back to the end of the 19th century, restored with love and dedication to the old. It is located on the slopes of the mountain of the beautiful church of Valmaggiore, facing the ruins of Cantagallo and a few kilometers from the quaint village of Castel del Rio, in the land of Romagna on the border with Tuscany. In this enchanted place, with unforgettable sunsets and nights full of stars, Andrea and his inseparable dog are pleased to welcome you in their home immersed in the quiet and silence of the wooded hills of the Santerno river valley. We have reserved for guests: two double bedrooms, with shared bathroom for their exclusive use and a third double bedroom with a second bathroom shared with the host family, use of the kitchen (fee if required). During your stay, you can take advantage of all the spaces of the location, from the back porch suitable for breakfast when the sun begins to warm the heart, to the relaxing lounge for pleasant moments of relaxation, not to forget the "gem" of the house: the porch, completely glazed like a greenhouse, where on a comfortable sofa you can chat waiting for the sunset inside or if you prefer out in the panoramic lookout comfortably seated in the aperitif area, because believe me, you will be the last spectators of the whole valley. You can also take advantage of the "sport" area with table tennis and archery of 25 meters. Or rest under the majestic oaks in the terrace of "Giulietta & Romeo" or stroll in the beautiful surrounding pine forest. In the area there are numerous tourist sites, such as the Church of Valmaggiore (visited by Pope Julius II in 1506), Monte Battaglia (where one of the bloodiest battles of the Gothic line of World War II took place), the German cemetery near the Passo della Futa, the ruins of Cantagallo.
