At the seaside of the picturesque fishing village of Salema, you can find the amazing Praia da Salema. Easily accessible from the town, its sandstrip extends over a long and wide area, and provides everything you need to have a care-free time at the beach. This is one of the favourites in the summer! But if the central area gets a bit busy, you can also walk east, where the tranquil shoreline sits under the cliffside.

The lovely Praia do Burgau is located at the shore of the village of Burgau. This is another of the popular sandstrips of Vila do Bispo. It sits in a small bay, sided by cliffs, in front of the village valley. This union of seaside and old fishing village gives an atmosphere that is very warming and inviting.
