Description

The museum manages four buildings in the historical center of Pilsen: the main building in Kopecký sady (belongs to the most beautiful landmarks of the town), the Pilsen Ethnographic Museum, the Puppet Museum and the Museum of the Church Art of the Pilsen Diocese. Since 1 January 2015, Dr. Museum Bohuslav Horák in Rokycany, national technical monument Dobřív water hammer and Memorial Hall of Jindřich Mošna. The museum has a wide range of expositions all year round. In the main building you will find the largest historical arsenal in the Czech Republic or the modern exposition of Archeology and History. Puppet Museum with a number of interactive elements will be appreciated by your children. The exhibition maps the history of Pilsen puppetry in a way that can be entertained and entertained. The Museum of Church Art originated in the premises of the former Franciscan monastery. The exhibition's creators succeeded in sensitively introducing a long list of works of art in the original Gothic interiors, many of which can be considered unique in Europe. The original ethnographic exhibition in the Ethnographic Museum of Pilsen, which was created by Ladislav Lábek, one of the most prominent personalities of the Czech museums, was able to offer an unforgettable atmosphere.
