The Weltmuseum Wien is a meeting place for people and cultures, where the appreciation of and the enthusiasm for cultural diversity are conveyed. The museum's nine collections build on a total of about 250,000 ethnographic objects, over 140,000 photographs and 146,000 printed works from different parts of the world. This makes it one of the most important ethnographic museums in the world.
