Wambalamba Waterfall, Buton, Southeast Sulawesi

Wambalamba waterfall, according to the locals in the nearby village of Winning, was only "discovered", that is added to Google maps, in 2019. This is one of the most attractive waterfalls in Buton - and in fact, not one, but four. In between the four drops, there are large river pools reflecting the jungle, little brooks, ponds, and karst features. © Mark Levitin
