Theater Akzent

Description

Theater Akzent, founded in 1989 by the Chamber of Labor, is a place of cultural encounter with three theaters (Akzent Theater, Podium in Accent and Studio in Accent), where the exploration of art and culture is seen as a significant enrichment of life. A varied and varied schedule offers viewers of all ages socially current and artistically appealing productions from Germany and abroad with the focus on a multicultural, barrier-free and cross-border "culture (er) leben". With cabarets, plays, children's and youth productions, readings, concerts, musicals, festivals, dance and intercultural topics, the design of the repertoire will address different entertainment needs and thus set essential accents in terms of artistic and cultural pedagogy. In addition to the presentation of well-known artists, it is a special concern of the Theater Akzent to promote young talents, to offer them a stage and thus to act as a space for cultural exchange from the very beginning.
