In 1478, the Jewish community of Cáceres were forced to leave the neighbourhood they had inhabited for centuries within the city walls, and move to the streets of Calle Paneras and Calle de la Cruz. These streets and the local area became known as the New Jewish Quarter of Cáceres; a pleasant and historial set of streets between the Plaza Mayor and Plaza de la Concepción. © Adam L. Maloney
