The London Dungeon is the best place to really experience what it was like to be in a medieval dungeon in grim and dark London. The experience is an immersive and exciting look at punishment and pain in London’s history and is located very centrally next to Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. You can learn about Guy Fawkes’ gunpowder plot, experience ‘The Descent’ and take a Tyrant Boat Ride as well. If you want to take your children there, ensure they are tough and not easily terrified.
