The Idrija Lace Festival, Slovenia

Description

This is a festival dedicated to the Idrija lace, being organised annually in the middle of July in the centre of the town of Idrija. The exhibitions, lectures, competitions, workshops and other activities accompanying the event attract many visitors. Concerts and outdoor parties also take place at the festival and there are some traditional local dishes being presented.
