Description
Founded in 2014, the Teatro degli Olivi is a little natural amphitheatre housed in an olive grove, overlooking Montalcino and Murlo, on top of the gentle hills of the Merse valley. The Teatro degli Olivi is an attempt to rediscover the tradition of drama and plays staged in the gardens and in the wood: it is a luogo teatrale open to established artists as well as to young and curious innovators, from new writing to drama, music, comedy and forgotten classics. It is a grass-root artistic project with no geographical, political and cultural boundaries.
