Description
In the past, there were 20 of the Smolyan Lakes, but some dried up or turned into marshlands. Today, you can see only 7-8 of them. One of them, Iztochnoto Lake, completely disappears during the summer months, July and August, because it has no direct source of water. This is where the trek heading towards all the lakes start.
