Located in the center of Tomar, the Church of Saint John Baptiste was originally built in the 15th century, but rebuilt in the 16th. In 1520, King D. Manuel raised the Church to Collegiate Church, thus integrating the chapels within the royal patronage. © iStock / cristianoalessandro
