Description

Opened in 1998, the Archaeological Park "Città del Tufo" was born by the will of Sorano city administration with the aim of exploiting, protecting and raising awareness of its important historical and cultural heritage. A treasure remained unchanged for centuries. The aim of the park is to optimize the use of a series of sites of great archaeological importance, history and nature that are found in the territories of Sovana, Sorano and Vitozza (S. Quirico), in the so-called area of ​​the tuffs.
