Description
The Nal Sarovar Bird Sanctuary is located over 60 kilometres west of Ahmedabad in the western state of Gujarat in India. The sanctuary houses the largest lake of Gujarat which becomes home to migratory birds from all over the world during winter and spring. During these seasons, at least 210 species of wetland birds flock the Nal Sarovar Bird Sanctuary. The best time to visit is from November to February. © istock/ SB Stock
