Description

The Environmental Education Museum is a provision of the City of Pamplona which aims to contribute to the construction of a new model of society based on the principles of sustainability. It was opened in April 2003 and the project was funded by the COFI Cohesion Fund of the European Union through Pamplona URBAN program. The Museum has a permanent exhibition space, a conference room, a teaching garden, Interactive Classroom Acoustics, specializing in the subject of noise, and other classroom-workshop. The permanent exhibition consists of eight rooms and is structured around three concepts: natural resources, the intervention of human beings in the environment and sustainable development. Each room is a different theme and features panels, interactive multimedia systems and chips for those wishing additional information.
