Description

The Museum of the History of Agriculture and Urbania Crafts is housed in the historic cellars of the sixteenth century Palazzo Ducale where, in separate sections, are exposed on the one hand the most important working tools in wheat cycles, the vine and wine, and on the other side they were set up some environments of everyday rural life, the source, the kitchen, the stable, accompanied by user terracotta objects from the Collection Maurri Poggi of the Civic Museum of Urbania, placed in some adjacent areas to exhibition halls. These materials are accompanied by photographs taken during the twentieth century in the countryside of the province of Pesaro and Urbino. Closes the path of summary documentation on manufacturing for the production of pottery placed in 1820 by Cardinal Giuseppe Albani inside the Palazzo Ducale and taken at the end of the nineteenth century, by the Castelbarco family, heirs of the Albani assets and the size of the industrial activities national level.
