Brda is a municipality in the northwest of Slovenia, comprising of the Slovenian part of the Gorizia Hills, which are one of the most important wine-producing regions. The area is known for the production of Slovenian wine, as well as traditional wine cellars offering tastings and other experiences. The Brda cherries are also a significant and well-known trait of Brda.
