Krymskaya Embankment

Description

Krymskaya Embankment is located near Moscow’s historic centre and just next to the Contemporary Art Exhibition Hall. It is about one kilometre long and includes green hills, pedestrian and cycle paths, a fountain, a pond and pavilions. The design was inspired by the theme of “waves”, highlighting the dynamic character of the area. Artificial hills and slopes are used for cycling, skating, skiing and sledging.
