Description

Kolomenskoye is an art and architectural museum-reserve with a total area of 254.6 hectares. It is a former royal estate first mentioned in 1336, situated several kilometers to the southeast of the city center of Moscow, on the steep banks of the Moskva River. Buildings: Church of the Ascension (1532), UNESCO World Heritage site; Church of Our Lady of Kazan, 17th century; Front gates; a wooden house of Peter the Greate, reconstruction of Palace of the Tsar Alexey Mikhailovich, 17th century, and many others.
