The interactive exhibition "Montserrat portes endins" is based in the three fundamentals pillars: mountain, monastery and sanctuary, and allows to know how the mountain was formed, how and when began the monastic life and how Montserrat became a place of the devotion. The Museum of Montserrat contains one of the most important collections of art in the country. It includes works from diverse cultures and eras and an excellent representation of internationally renowned artists: Berruguete, El Greco, Caravaggio, Fortuny, Rusiñol, Casas, Picasso, Nonell, Mir, Dalí, Monet, Sisley, Degas, Pissarro, Chagall, Braque, Le Corbusier, Tàpies, etc.
