Opened in 1865, the hotel Helvétie is a privileged witness of the tourist development of the city of Montreux. Opposite the Casino and 200 meters from the lake, the hotel is located in the heart of Montreux and is an excellent starting point to the main tourist attractions of the region: among others, the lakeside promenade, the Château de Chillon, Rochers de Naye, cruises on the lake and the Jazz Festival in July.
