Description

This is 50 years since the foundation of the Hiiumaa Museum. On May 28, 1967, the Museum of Domestic Life was opened in Kassari under the leadership of a school teacher and a mentor of domestic affairs, Volli Mäeumba. Over 50 years, the Museum of Hiiumaa History and Culture - Pikk House in Kärdla, Kassari Museum House, Mihkli Farm Museum in Malvast, Rudolf Tobias House Museum in Käina and Mihkel Kiibu Kroogi Farm Valg have grown from the branches located in different parts of the island.
