Heredia, Costa Rica

Description

Heredia is the capital city of the Heredia province, just a few kilometers south of the international airport and about 10 kilometers north of the nation’s capital, San José. It is a city full of history, with a beautiful central park, pleasant shopping and several free trade zones. Many multinational companies employ thousands of Costa Ricans from surrounding cities in these zones, so Heredia is a busy place. It is also a university town.
