Crypt of Saint Augustin

Description

The crypt of Saint Augustin is a small underground chapel in Cagliari, located in Largo Carlo Felice, in the Stampace district. Access to the crypt is via a spiral staircase from the lobby of the Accardo building. In Largo Carlo Felice 13 and inside the Palazzo Accardo, there is the "Coenaculum Agostinianum", or the (underground) place where for two centuries (from 504 to 722 AD) the remains of Sant'Agostino were kept.
