The Museum of the food and agriculture traditions of Sardinia is based in Steri House, situated in the heart of the historical center of the town of Siddi, near the parish church, with which almost suggestively mingles. The house belongs continuously for several centuries to the same family of notables of the country and consists of a system of architectural bodies made in later eras, from '600. It is characterized by the complex articulation of spaces built and fenced typical open spaces of the courtyard houses in the Campidano: living spaces, premises for the transformation of agro-pastoral products, lodges, shelters for working animals and poultry. The specialization of the space reflects the complexity of the property and the family business organization, its transformations over time, the social role that the family and the company for centuries have played in the community. From this point they enter the educational activities organized by "Education Department" cultural "Museum Steri house" in the Museum such as laboratories, workshops, courses, seminars and conferences aimed at both adults and children alike.
