Description
Batusangkar is a small town in West Sumatra. While it has no important sights as such, nor proper infrastructure for tourism, the area is lovely and has more traditional Minangkabau architecture than the more popular towns nearby. But what puts it on the traveler's list is an unique local sport - Pacu Jawi, bull racing in a muddy rice field.
