Augsburg Rathausplatz

Description

Rathausplatz is located in the heart of Augsburg in the district of Innenstadt and is surrounded by Maximilianstraße and Philippine-Welser-Straße. In addition, the streets "Eisenberg", "Fischmarkt", "Steingasse" and "Unter dem Bogen" lead into the Rathausplatz. The approximately 80 x 80 m square is surrounded by buildings on all four sides. The Augsburg town hall and the Perlachturm tower in the east, as well as an elongated administration building in the south of the city of Augsburg, are particularly succinct. In the northeast of the square is the Augustusbrunnen.
