ALZHIR Concentration Camp Museum, Nur-Sultan

Description

This is the “ALZHIR” Museum and memorial complex of victims of political repressions and totalitarianism. It was firstly opened in 1997 and is now getting more popularity, year by year. During the time when in the place of the museum the concentration camp ALZHIR existed, about 18,000 women were imprisoned with their children.
