Introduction to Cala Brandinchi

Sardinia is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Italy, with some of the most beautiful and pristine beaches in the Mediterranean. Located on the northeastern coast of the island, Cala Brandinchi is one of the most exclusive and fascinating destinations in Sardinia.

The brightest pearl of San Teodoro stretches between Punta Sabbatino and Capo Coda Cavallo, almost opposite the imposing island of Tavolara, a limestone mountain emerging from the water and forming the backdrop to an inimitable landscape.

The hidden gem - Cala Brandinchi

Located in the municipality of San Teodoro, in northern Sardinia, Cala Brandinchi is one of the most beautiful and pristine beaches in Sardinia. Known as "Little Tahiti" for its beauty and crystal clear sea, Cala Brandinchi is a perfect destination for those looking for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. The beach is about a kilometre and a half long and is surrounded by dense Mediterranean vegetation.

The fine white sand, crystal clear water, and lush vegetation create a tropical atmosphere reminiscent of French Polynesia. The shape of the bay, with its arc of white sand, makes it unique and spectacular. It is a popular destination for couples looking for a romantic and peaceful place, but also for families who want to enjoy a beach holiday.

The sea of Cala Brandinchi is considered one of the most beautiful seas in Sardinia. The crystal-clear, transparent waters are perfect for swimming and snorkelling. The white of the sand highlights the shades of the water: from emerald green to turquoise, from blue to cobalt blue. Dark reflections appear where the rocks emerge, the habitat of rich marine fauna and an oasis for snorkelers. The seabed is very shallow for tens of meters with a 'pool effect', ideal for swimming and children's games, it is also protected from currents and waves, which makes it very safe. The beach is equipped with all the necessary services, such as toilets, showers, and sunbeds.

Among the animal species that can be seen in the area are migratory birds, flamingos, sea turtles, and dolphins. Staying in Cala Brandinchi

To better enjoy the landscapes, nature, the sea, unforgettable glimpses, scents, and flavours of Cala Brandinchi, I recommend you to stay in the vicinity of this wonderful place for at least two to three days. So I want to give you some suggestions for accommodation. For example, I can suggest Punta Molara, an apartment for exclusive use that can accommodate up to 6 people, therefore very suitable for families, which is less than a kilometre from Cala Brandinchi Beach. The apartment is very interesting as it has a private garden with sofas for relaxing and a terrace for outdoor dining.

Tips to visit Cala Brandinchi

To fully enjoy Cala Brandinchi, it is advisable to visit it during the week and avoid peak season periods. Bring along all your essentials for the beach, such as beach towels and drinking water. The beach is free, but there are also bathing establishments offering services such as the rental of sunbeds, umbrellas, canoes, and rafts, and within walking distance of hotels, campsites, restaurants, and nightclubs. A pier welcomes small pleasure boats. The marine area is one of the most spectacular sceneries in the Mediterranean, both outside and inside the water: you will discover the underwater world thanks to diving centres that will take you to various diving spots.

The surroundings

And, since you're spending a few days here, I may suggest you take a trip north to Porto Cervo, the Queen of the Costa Smeralda, visit the famous Piazzetta delle Chiacchiere and take a walk in the marina which houses luxury yachts and boats, or stroll while looking at the windows of luxury boutiques.

If you are interested in cultural, historical, and archaeological aspects, I recommend a trip to Arzachena, where you can admire the Nuraghe Albucciu, the Necropolis of Li Muri, and the Tomba dei Giganti Li Lolghi.
