Ankara is the capital of the region and the country. It is a city with many museums and monuments to see, like the Anitkabir Mausoleum, the Haci Bayram and the Kocatepe mosques. Also head on top of the Atakule tower to enjoy a great panoramic view of the city. On you list you should definitely visit the Ankara castle. The nature of the region is really special. Cappadocia has a moon-like landscape with many rocks and undergrounds caves. Cities, churches and houses are made underground or in the rock, which makes the landscape unique, called the Fairy Chimneys.
