The region is mostly known for its nature. The Postojna caves are underground galleries with a length of 20 kilometers. The Chambers and corridors are up to 50 meters. Growing out the cave, the Predjama Castle is the most impressive building of the region. If you are not really fan of caves and karst, you can find the lakes of Bloke and Cerknica, where you can try many water sport activities or do long walks. Fuels by its many rivers getting out of the caves, the region has a unique fauna and flora.
