The Caraș-Severin county is part of the Danube-Kris-Mures-Tisza Euroregion, the third largest county in Romania; and the gateway through which the Danube River enters Romania. Many other notable rivers, such as Timiș, Cerna, Caraș and Nera, cross the county via spectacular, hence must-see, valleys and gorges.
