The capital of the region is the city of Zugdidi, which it may not be very touristic as a city but there are many attractions to see around the city, In your list you should not forget to add the Tobavarchkhili Lake and the Martvili canyon. Water is a few meters deep, quite clear, with a turquoise colour coming from the glacier at the top of the mountains. Poti is a really sweet coastline city, where you can profit and enjoy the beaches to chill and get tanned. Mestia is a city in the north of the region, and it is the base for all the trekkers that want to visit the Zemo Svaneti Planned National Park. Additionally, you can go on the top of the mountains to see the well-known Ushba and Chalaadi glaciers.
